The road from Nilphamari to Ponchapukur widening work was inaugurated on Sunday morning. Md. Asaduzzaman Noor, MP of Nilphamari-2, inaugurated the project.
 
The work will be completed under the supervision of LGED of Nilphamari. Among others Md. Belal Hossain, executive engineer of LGED, Dewan Kamal Ahmed, President of district Awami League and Municipal Mayor, Momotazul Haque, General Secretary of district Awami League, Shahid Mahmud, Sadar Upailla Chairman, Abujar Rahman, former Sadar Upazilla Chairman, Hafizur Rashid Monju, Chairman of Itakhola union porishod,
 
Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of MR Construction and the elite persons of the area were also present there. Asaduzzaman Noor said, "The government is working hard for the development of the country. It is also a part of the development work. The road will lessen the sufferings of the common people." 

Belal Hossain said, "The road is very important in this area. Many people use the road to reach Nilphamari. That's why we have taken an initiative to widen the road. As a result, people will reach town easily and safely. We have a minute observation here. The work will be completed very soon."
